Ford Fiesta (02 - 08)
Just look around at the number of these on the road. Why? Because it is a practical car, inexpensive to run and reliable. The rear and front headlights were reshaped, giving it a modern, neater look. The interior is smartly designed and comfortable. There is a decent amount of standard kit. The Fiesta is one of the most enjoyable superminis to drive, it handles well and the ride quality is smooth. There are some nippy engines, each excellent in terms of fuel economy and CO2 emissions.
Look out for
• Check the condition of the water pump especially in the earlier models
• Water can leak into the foot-well due to faulty filter seals
